Yesterday, watching my children welcome their dad home from deployment was one of those times. The older kids were a lot more reserved, but McKenna, being 4, could not contain her excitement, then...or even hours later when she was pinging with glee. It's times like these when I can witness such PURE JOY in their faces, that make being a mother worthwhile for me.
We are all happy to have him home safe and sound, and welcome moving on to the next phase for our family in our new home. Now, we just hope we get orders soon, and the pack-out goes smoothly enough for us to move on with fond memories of our time here. We are all looking forward to seeing family and a fun summer ahead. More updates ahead, hopefully filled with more delight and less stress...

Welcome home, Dennis. Thank you for serving our country.
Congratulations Lisa! I love the picture of McKenna with Dennis. That definitely looks like pure joy. I am so happy for you. Doesn't it feel like you just finished a marathon? I hope the adjustment period goes well and good luck with your move!
I can't believe I missed this post but now I'm so glad I found it. For some reason my blog list didn't update. Love the picture, love the story, love the smiles! Soon you will be off on another big adventure, a surfin' one for sure!
Lisa,
So glad to hear your family is back together again and that things are moving! We're headed to Colorado now. Our packers will be here on the 18th - can't wait to get that part over with!
Thanks, again for that last batch of cards and supplies! They went over well and have been very appreciated!
We'd love to have those extra cards, if you still need to get rid of them. Just let me know when and where to pick them up and I'll be there!
Best of luck with the rest of your move!
